Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine has significantly undermined the security situation in the Black Sea and Azov Sea region, which plays a strategic role in ensuring regional stability.
In light of this, Ukraine and Moldova will jointly hold the Third Black Sea Security Conference in Chișinău on March 23. The goal is to develop effective approaches to responding to security challenges and to promote the sustainable development of the region’s peace-loving states.
During the event, participants will exchange experience gained from countering Russia’s impact on the Black Sea and Azov Sea region, and will also discuss the strategic importance of Black Sea security as a cornerstone of European maritime strategy.
The conference is co-organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence of Ukraine and Moldova, with the support of European partners.
