Situation in Ukraine, CMCE meeting 1197

The decision is a reaction to the already filed reports of acts of violence and seizure of administrative buildings in eastern Ukraine.

As a result, the document reaffirms the obligation of all member states to respect international law, territorial integrity, unity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, and calls on all parties to take measures to reduce tensions and resolve the situation through negotiations.
