“Although it is clear that Russia has failed to achieve its targeted objective for unprovoked invading Ukraine, we must be clear and stress that Russia will never ever achieve such an objective” – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia Dee-Maxwell Kemaya

At the outset of the speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia Dee-Maxwell Kemaya reaffirmed full commitment to the objective of the Crimea Platform. Dee-Maxwell Kemaya is assured the sustained pressure properly coordinated and applied on the Russian Federation will end its unprovoked aggression in Ukraine, as well as make Russia accountable to the fullest for the atrocities and acts against humanity  in Ukraine. 

Dee-Maxwell Kemaya addressed the use of lethal weapons by Russia which is  aimed mostly at civilian targets such as residential homes, schools, hospitals, entertainment centers, supermarkets, full-storage depots, train stations, and dams. “Russia continues to intimidate the world with the threat of resorting to the use of nuclear weapons. This is unacceptable and must be discouraged by all peace-loving nations”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia added. 

Dee-Maxwell Kemaya denounced attempts by Russia to use food as a weapon of war. Thus Dee-Maxwell Kemaya expressed the unwavering support of Liberia  for the Black Sea Green шnitiative, as well as for the ten-point peace plan of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
