The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein

The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein

“We believe that those most responsible for aggression must be held accountable in a court of law on the basis of international law. There are intense efforts on the way to create a special tribunal for the crime of aggression”, Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein

Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, stressed the fundamental importance of holding Russia accountable for atrocities it committed in Crimea and the other occupied territories of Ukraine. He is convinced that the Ukrainian decision to join the International Criminal Court will serve greatly in this regard.

“Liechtenstein remains committed to working on a solution that both serves the purposes of establishing a special tribunal and further advancing international law based on customary international law”, noted Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein.

Furthermore, the politician once again reaffirmed that Liechtenstein will continue its political and financial support and will continue to welcome Ukrainian refugees. Thus, the state remains among the vital partners of Ukraine in the Russian war against both Ukrainian sovereignty and international law.
