The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland

“Already then, 10 years ago, the world saw Russia’s true intentions toward Ukraine. Unfortunately, the world looked but did not see. It listened, but did not want to hear”,  Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland. 

President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda is convinced that the illegal attempt to annex Crimea in 2014 revealed the true criminal face of Russia and Putin. These actions were actually a prelude to the events we have been witnessing since 2022.

“Since 2014, we have been witnessing Russia’s brutal policy towards Crimean Tatars. Illegal detentions, deportations, torture, inhuman treatment, intimidation and discrimination have become part of the everyday life of Crimean residents,” President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, said. 

He emphasized that Russia must be held accountable for the damage caused. This will happen only when we make the price of this war unbearable for Russia by weakening its defense industrial base and economy.
