“Latvia sees its hopes, values, aspirations for freedom, and desire to resist Russian aggression in the struggle of Ukrainians. Ukrainian resilience inspires the world,” Evika Silinia, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Ms. Ewika Silinia, is convinced that Russia continues to violate human rights in Crimea by destroying culture and illegally transferring and arresting civilians.
“30 years ago, when the Russians were leaving Latvia, they also took everything they could at night. What is happening in Ukraine now is reminiscent of the suffering endured by the Latvian people. Latvia understands what Ukrainians are going through now,” Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Evika Silinia, said.
She emphasized that Latvia will continue to help Ukraine as much as possible, providing military support and helping it on the irreversible path to EU membership.
