The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Hristijan Mickoski, Prime Minister of North Macedonia
“My country will not recognize illegally attempted annexations of the temporarily occupied territories. Dear Ukrainian friends, let me repeat once again: my country will stay by your side in these difficult times, and we will stand with Ukraine as long as it takes,” said Hristijan Mickoski, Prime Minister of North Macedonia.
The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, urged the restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity. He emphasized that his country respects internationally recognized borders and supports Ukraine in international initiatives such as the Crimea Platform.
“Russian aggression against Ukraine did not start on 24 February; it started ten years ago with the illegal occupation of Crimea. And this was the beginning of the Russians’ aggressive and full act against your homeland and your people,” Hristijan Mickoski, Prime Minister of North Macedonia, mentioned.
Hristijan Mickoski noted that North Macedonia has approved the establishment of a special tribunal for crimes of aggression against Ukraine, a new register of damages for a future compensation mechanism for Ukraine. He also pointed out that North Macedonia is committed to supporting the Ukrainian people and providing all available assistance to those who need it.
