The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg

“This year marks the 10th anniversary of the occupation of the Crimean peninsula by Russia. A decade of war and suffering”, — Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg

Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, underlined the brutal atrocities Russia committed in the occupied Crimea since the beginning of the aggression. He is convinced, that no human rights abuses should take place in today’s world, and Russia should be held accountable for its brutal actions.

“When the International Crimea Platform was established 3 years ago Luxembourg committed its support to this important initiative to strengthen the global response against Russian illegal occupation and hold it into account”, — noted Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg.

Finally, the speaker reaffirmed his solidarity with Ukraine and ensured that Ukraine can count on Luxembourg to be a reliable partner in the fight for freedom.
