The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit:  Mustafa Dzhemiliev, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people

“We need to keep the issue of de-occupation of Crimea on the international agenda,” — Mustafa Dzhemiliev, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people.

The leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemiliev, emphasized: “We are very grateful to all the countries and peoples who are providing Ukraine with important comprehensive assistance in these difficult days for our country. However, the assistance must be sufficient and timely. This will bring the end of the war closer and save many lives.”

Mustafa Dzhemiliev also emphasized the importance of reconsidering the ban on the use of weapons transferred by Western partners to hit strategic targets: “It turns out to be a bizarre situation: the aggressor can strike at the territory of Ukraine from its bases, destroy our infrastructure, kill our citizens, our children, and we are not allowed to strike at these bases, because it turns out that this may irritate the aggressor and contribute to the expansion of the war.”

The leader of the Crimean Tatar people also spoke about the key role of Crimea’s liberation in ending the war.
