The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Salem Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Ukraine

“The UAE does not stand aside during this war: thanks to our humanitarian mission, we managed to hold seven rounds of negotiations on the release of hostages between Ukraine and Russia this year,” Salem Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Ukraine, stated.

Salem Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Ukraine, emphasized the importance of the Crimea Platform summits, which serve as an essential platform for discussing the current unrest and economic and humanitarian challenges. 

“Thanks to the efforts of the UAE and our partners, we managed to exchange 912 hostages between Ukraine and Russia. We are trying to be a consistent and trustworthy mediator,” said Salem Ahmed Al-Kaabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Ukraine.

The speaker also reminded the audience that the UAE provided Ukraine with 450 generators, 53 ambulances, and other humanitarian aid. The state also supports the Olena Zelenska Foundation, which helps Ukrainian children.
