The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Thordis Kolbrun Gylfadottir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iceland

“The Crimea Platform is one of the ways to unite the whole world around democratic values. Russian aggression is a threat to the world order that we all have to fight,”  Thordis Kolbrun Gylfadottir, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iceland. 

Icelandic Foreign Minister Thordis Kolbrun Gylfadottir is convinced that Russia’s aggression in Crimea contradicts the values and international legal principles, which violates the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“Iceland supports the people of Ukraine in their quest for freedom and lasting peace. Russia’s aggression in Crimea is contrary to international values and legal principles,” Icelandic Foreign Minister Thordis Kolbrun Gylfadottir.

He emphasized that Iceland condemns Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and supports the preservation of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory, including the Crimean Peninsula.
