The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General

In his speech, Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, emphasized that the Crimea Platform helps to strengthen Ukraine’s cooperation with NATO and maintain an effective dialogue. He noted that Ukraine is not alone in its struggle for the future, as the Alliance has provided F-16s and other weapons that are already protecting Ukrainian cities and villages.

“At the NATO Washington Summit, we agreed on a large package of support that will make the Ukrainian army stronger, and NATO commanders will help Ukraine,” said Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General.

The speaker also noted that the organization has allocated 40 billion euros for the next year to ensure sustainable funding for the long term. He reminded that Ukraine has aspirations for NATO membership, which will certainly be realized one day.
