“Crimes must be stopped and perpetrators must be brought to justice”, Ian Borg, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta

Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta Ian Borg called on Russia to immediately reverse its repressive measures in Crimea and Sevastopol, which curtail human rights and undermine security. 

Ian Borg also spoke of the human cost to the people of Ukraine, destroyed critical infrastructure and monuments of cultural heritage by Russia.

“Malta strongly condemns Russia’s irresponsible decision to terminate the Black Sea grain initiative which has repercussions that go far beyond the region and impact the most vulnerable countries”, added Ian Borg.
