The President of Iceland highlighted economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine made by the Iceland government which is still doing its best to reconstruct the damage Russia made to Ukraine and especially establish the fair solution of the conflict. In addition, he reminded that every Ukrainian refugee can still get an asylum in Iceland.

The President Guðni laid an emphasis on the importance of Lithuania’s role in connecting the diplomatic relations between Reykjavik and Kyiv. He strongly believes that Ukraine and all the participants of the Summit must stay united and strong together to show the serious intentions to defend democratic values.
