11 Years of War. Starting Point: Crimea Forum. An opening address by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Mishchenko
“For 11 years, we have consistently emphasized that Crimea is Ukraine—on every platform, at every level, in every capital and headquarters. We do not tire of insisting, and most importantly, we act and fight for our Crimea, for justice,” stressed Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Mishchenko.
During the 11 Years of War. Starting Point: Crimea Forum, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleksandr Mishchenko, reaffirmed that Ukraine will never abandon Crimea and emphasized the nation’s unwavering commitment to its return.
“History proves that nations that never forget what was stolen from them inevitably reclaim it one day. The key is to act systematically, persistently, and decisively—to ensure that this issue remains on the agenda and that the occupation is never normalized,” stated Oleksandr Mishchenko.
He further stressed that Ukraine will never give up on Crimea. Every textbook and every false narrative will be corrected, bringing the de-occupation of the peninsula closer. This consistent and systematic policy will undoubtedly lead to Crimea’s full return to Ukraine.
