In Crimea, the occupiers illegally searched the homes of Crimean Tatar activists and religious figures
Today at dawn in the occupied Bakhchisarai and Dzhankoy district, the occupiers conducted illegal raids in the homes of Crimean Tatars. In Bakhchisarai, occupation law enforcement officers broke into the houses of Crimean Solidarity activists: Rustem Osmanov, Aziz Azizov, Memet Lumanov, Mustafa Abdurmanov; in Dzhankoy district, to the houses of religious figures: former Imam Remzi Kurtnezirov, Imam Vait Mustafayev, Ali Mamutov, Arsen Kashka, Enver Khalilayev, Nariman Ametov.
At 7:30 a.m., after the searches, the occupation law enforcement officers took Remzi Kurtnezirov and Enver Khalilayev to an unknown destination. Due to the health condition, Kurtnezirov’s blood pressure rose during the illegal inspection, and an ambulance was called.
After the searches, Mustafa Abdurmanov and Nariman Ametov were taken to the occupation security forces in Simferopol. The occupiers took Mustafa’s phone. “They all came in at once, scattered around the house. There were 10 of them. There were two girls with them – witnesses. The children had already woken up and were scared, and did not understand what was happening. A security officer with a gun and a mask came into our room, he told us to stay in the same room and not to leave… They were searching the house. They started with the kitchen and then went through all the rooms. They were looking at books, looking for “forbidden” literature. The witnesses were constantly joking and mocking,” said Aliya Abduramanova, Mustafa’s wife.
After the illegal search, the occupation law enforcement officers seized Vait Mustafayev’s passport, military ID and phone. The man stayed at home.
