In Crimea, the occupiers searched the house of Abdullah Gafarov: the head of the Muslim community “Alushta” was detained
In Verkhnya Kutuzovka village in Crimea, in the morning of November 30, occupation “security forces” conducted an illegal search in the house of Abdullah Gafarov, the head of the Muslim religious community “Alushta”.
Gafarov’s wife, Fatma, reported that the search was carried out at 6 am by 7 masked officers of the so-called “center for countering extremism”.
After the illegal search was completed, the occupiers took Gafarov to the occupation police department.
We would like to remind you that in August 2023, Gafarov was illegally placed under administrative arrest for allegedly “organizing mass simultaneous stay of citizens in public places”. He spent four days in a pre-trial detention center.
Also, on November 23, the occupiers conducted illegal searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars Yusuf Ashirov, Vilen Useinov and Zinur Appazov, members of the local Muslim religious community “Alushta” in Alushta. They were detained by the occupation “security forces” and placed under illegal “administrative arrest” for a period of 2 to 10 days.
