In his speech at the Third Summit of the Crimea Platform, President of the European Council Charles Michel expressed unwavering support for President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the leaders of the Crimean Tatar people for continuing their struggle despite persecution throughout Crimea.

“The EU will continue to fight to bring all those responsible for these crimes to justice. We support you, Mr. President, and your Peace Formula.In Ukraine, you are fighting for your homeland, for the future, for our common values, that is why we support you and we will support you more strongly through the sanctions regime. We will meet your humanitarian needs as best we can, we stand by you in this battle for freedom and liberty,” the President of the European Council emphasized.

“I absolutely support the assistance that the EU has provided before. We are preparing a multi-year plan of financial support for Ukraine worth more than 50 billion euros.”
