Information Brief
on the So-Called “Nationalization” of Assets in the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Crimea
In 2014, following the beginning of Russia’s occupation of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the so-called “State Council of the Republic of Crimea” adopted an illegal “resolution” on the so-called “nationalization” of Ukrainian assets. In the following years, thousands of state-owned and private properties were transferred into the so-called “state ownership” of the Russian Federation.
The Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, together with the Office of the Crimea Platform, has prepared a detailed analytical report covering the entire period of temporary occupation from 2014 to 2025. The materials are available via the link — both Ukrainian and English versions of the document can be accessed.
