“The number of flags in this hall testifies that Ukraine has succeeded in the most crucial matter… namely — Putin failed to make international crime a norm in the world,” said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that Russia’s attack on the international legal system began with the seizure of Crimea. He stressed that the UN Charter is not based on normalizing war but on achieving genuine peace.

“Almost two years ago, at the G20 summit in Indonesia, I proposed the Peace Formula, which can fully restore the effectiveness of the UN Charter’s goals and principles and truly protect lives from aggression. And it’s not just about Ukraine,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.

He noted that if the war ends just, every nation in the world can be confident that the world has enough strength and unity to uphold international law. The President of Ukraine emphasized that an important stage in achieving peace in Ukraine should be the implementation of the presented Victory Plan. 

“Nowhere in the world should words like occupation, captivity, and deportation hold power. We must achieve real peace,” said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
