Occupation forces take Emil Nazarbekov and Arsen Dzhepparov to an unknown destination

In the village of Krasnokamianka near Yalta, occupation forces took two Crimean Tatars to an unknown destination: Emil Nazarbekov and Arsen Dzhepparov.

The occupation forces searched Emil Nazarbekov’s home under the pretext of allegedly searching for drugs and weapons.

The detention of political prisoner Arsen Dzhepparov was even more brutal: the man was twisted, thrown to the ground and a weapon was put to his head. The occupation forces first filmed their crime with their own cameras, and later pushed Dzhepparov into a car.

Today, it was reported that the activists were detained and interrogated in the so-called “center for countering extremism” in Simferopol, after which they were released.

We would like to remind you that the term of illegal detention of political prisoner Arsen Dzhepparov ended only on April 17 this year – after 7 years of imprisonment in terrible conditions in a Russian prison. During the period of illegal detention, the political prisoner’s health condition deteriorated significantly, and since October 2022, he has been constantly kept in a punishment cell.
