Participants of the Sixth Summit of the International Crimea Platform adopted a Joint Statement

In the document, Heads of State and Government, representatives of States and international organizations reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, as well as the policy of non-recognition of Russia’s attempted illegal annexation of Crimea and the temporary occupation of other territories of Ukraine.

The participants stressed that the liberation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol is integral to restoring Ukraine’s territorial integrity and is an essential prerequisite for a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.

The Joint Statement also calls for stronger sanctions against Russia, intensified efforts to secure the release of unlawfully detained civilians and political prisoners, the safe return of Ukrainian children, countering russification, indoctrination and militarization, and ensuring accountability for international crimes.

The participants demand that Russia immediately cease its armed aggression against Ukraine and withdraw all its troops and occupation administrations from all temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
