Prime Minister of Cabo Verde, Ulisses Correia e Silva, delivered a speech at the Fifth Crimea Platform Summit

“Respect for territorial integrity is a fundamental principle of peaceful relations between states, in line with international peace and security,” Ulisses Correia e Silva, Prime Minister of Cabo Verde.

The Prime Minister stressed that his government had taken a clear stance on Russia’s war against Ukraine back in January 2022 — and that position remains unchanged. Ulisses Correia e Silva emphasized that he is convinced this stance is the correct one in the context of world history. Cabo Verde holds deep respect for international law, which applies equally to all.
