Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau emphasized during the leaders’ summit in London that Russia’s war against Ukraine began with the occupation of Crimea in 2014
On Sunday, March 2, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in his speech at the “Securing Our Future” summit in London, highlighted that Russia chose the path of aggression and occupation on its own and can end the war in Ukraine at any moment.
“Russia’s war against Ukraine did not start on February 24, 2022. It started over a decade ago — in Crimea. And every day since, Canada has been clear: we stand with the people of Ukraine,” Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau
He also emphasized that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made it clear: Vladimir Putin is a liar and a criminal who cannot be trusted, as he has repeatedly violated any agreements.
