Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, spoke at the Fifth Summit of the Crimea Platform
“There cannot be fortune or blessing in taking away the land of other people, killing civilians, children, conducting ethnic cleansing or genocide for any political goal, national interest, or wars for business profit anywhere in the world,” Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said.
Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressed that the United Nations must not remain a symbolic institution. He underlined that the UN Charter obliges all states to refrain from the use of force against the territorial integrity of others and to resolve disputes peacefully. In this context, he noted that the Crimea Platform embodies true multilateralism, dedicated to defending Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, including Crimea and Sevastopol.
Željko Komšić reaffirmed firm support for Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders. He firmly rejected any attempt to legitimize territorial seizures by force. He concluded with a powerful message of resilience, affirming that goodwill ultimately triumphs over the forces of evil and destruction.
