Representatives of Lund University Visited the Mission

On June 18, the Head of the Crimea Platform Department, Nelia Hrynyshyn and the Chief Consultant of the Crimea Platform Department, Alina Olefir, held a meeting with representatives of Lund University: Jörgen Norén, Administrative Support Manager and Oleksandra Panasenko, Communications Assistant.

The meeting served as a continuation of systemic efforts to implement the Memorandum on the Development of Crimean Tatar Studies within the framework of the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies, which was signed on May 7, 2026, by the Permanent Representative Olha Kuryshko.

The parties exchanged information on the current activities of both institutions, discussed potential avenues for cooperation, and explored prospects for engaging the academic community in joint projects centered around the topic of Crimea.

The Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies is an initiative implemented with the support of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, and coordinated by the Fund of the President of Ukraine for Education, Science and Sports, the Ukrainian Institute, the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea / Crimea Platform Office, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
