At the beginning of her speech, Luminita-Teodora Odobescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, assured of full solidarity with Ukrainians. “Romania has been supporting Ukraine since the first day of the military aggression and will continue to do so until Ukraine achieves its final victory,” she emphasized.
Luminica-Teodora Odobescu stressed on the variety of examples of human rights violations in occupied Crimea and other territories, including torture, imprisonment, deportation of children.
She also noted that the recent attacks on Ukrainian ports, which are very close to the Romanian border, indicate that Russia wants to escalate the war.
“Romania fully supports Ukraine’s Peace Formula. We stand with Ukraine, we support Ukraine in its courageous struggle for its territorial integrity. We will continue to support the people of Ukraine in their struggle for their future without any external interference. Crimea is Ukraine!” she said in the end.
