“Russia is an aggressor country, and it must be denied all possible ways to continue its aggression. I mean the complete de-occupation of Ukraine, including Crimea” – Dorin Rechan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova
During the Third Summit of the Crimea Platform Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova said that it was from the territory of Crimea that Russia seized more Ukrainian territory, restricted navigation in the Black Sea and threatened navigation in the Danube River, worsening global exports to world markets.
“The attempted annexation of Crimea is not only a matter of national security, but also of global security, which requires a constant and unwavering international response. Our main goal should be to restore the rule of international law for Ukraine and to prevent similar situations in the future. Russia is an aggressor country, and it must be denied all possible means to continue its aggression. I mean the complete deoccupation of Ukraine, including Crimea,” emphasized Rechan.
According to the Prime Minister of Moldova, Russia must be held accountable for its aggression. The international community should strengthen sanctions against the Kremlin.
At the same time, the allies must provide Ukraine with everything necessary for self-defence. With the approach of winter, Ukraine should receive additional air defence systems. Criminal intentions to leave Ukrainians in the cold and without water must fail.
“The work on collecting irrefutable war crimes must accelerate and it is essential for establishing the rule of law in Ukraine and around the world. And I want to repeat once again that Moldova supports the establishment of a special international tribunal to investigate Russian war crimes in Ukraine.
The experience of restoring Irpin, Bucha and Hostomel should be used in all the liberated territories. And the international community must take an active part in this.
