“Russian invasion of Ukraine poses a threat to Europe and the entire world order.” – Anġlu Farrugia, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malta.

At the Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform, Anġlu Farrugia, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malta, reiterated the consistency and relevance of his stance expressed at the 146th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. He emphasized the importance of using parliamentary diplomacy as a tool to promote tolerance and peace.

Furthermore, Anġlu Farrugia highlighted that although Malta’s neutrality is enshrined in its Constitution, it does not indicate the country’s indifference to attacks on values common to the democratic world. Malta will continue to provide comprehensive support to Ukraine and advocate for peace in the region.
