The organizers of the international conference “Crimea Global. Understanding Ukraine through the South” extend their appreciation to the donors, partners and everyone who contributed to the organization of this significant event. Thanks to our joint efforts and your help, we accomplished something truly remarkable. All conference participants, both from Ukraine and various countries around the world, recognized the importance and uniqueness of this event, especially given the circumstances of martial law.  

We would like to thank the teams at Ukraїner, and PEN Ukraine for their financial support and materials that introduced the guests to Ukraine during times of war.

International guests had an opportunity to learn more about Ukraine and explore the iconic landmarks of Kyiv thanks to the guidance of Kyiv manager and tour guide Yuliia Bevzenko.

Introductions to the culture, cuisine, and traditions of Crimean Tatars were made possible through a visit to the “Musafir” restaurant, while Ukrainian cuisine was showcased through visits to the “Glek” and “Ostannya Barykada” restaurants. These receptions were organized with the support of Olena and Artem Braychenko, founders of the Їжакультура project. We thank them for their hospitality and delicious offerings.

All the days of the conference were captured and  memorialized through the professional photography of Valeriia Mezentseva. We appreciate her photos, promptness, and professional approach to her work! We also express our gratitude for the photos from the Kyiv tour by Veronika Vlasiuk and Kateryna Mamaisur.

The contributions of each of you are incredibly important in accelerating the liberation of the Crimean Peninsula and its de-occupation.
