The Head of the Crimea Platform Department participated in the Black Sea Security Forum
Last week, Odesa hosted the Third Black Sea Security Forum, which brought together more than 1,200 representatives of business, political circles, media, government institutions, and diplomatic corps from dozens of countries to discuss key security challenges and the geopolitical future of the Black Sea region.
Nelia Hrynyshyn, Head of the Crimea Platform Department, took part in the forum. She also participated in the side event “War in the Minds: Russia’s Cognitive and Information Warfare across Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania,” organized by the Hanns Seidel Foundation. The event focused on examining how Russia integrates cognitive and information influence into its hybrid warfare strategy, as well as analysing its key mechanisms and impacts on democratic institutions and societies.

During the discussions, forum participants addressed modern warfare, the role of technology on the battlefield, and international support for Ukraine.
Participation in the event provided an important opportunity to strengthen dialogue on security challenges in the Black Sea region, counter Russian hybrid threats, and reinforce support for Ukraine.
