The Mission held a meeting with Antonio Stango, President of the Italian Federation for Human Rights

The Head of the Crimea Platform Department, Nelia Hrynyshyn, held a meeting with Antonio Stango, an Italian political scientist, human rights defender, and President of the Italian Federation for Human Rights (FIDU).

During the meeting, the participants discussed the situation in temporarily occupied Crimea, systematic human rights violations, and the importance of international support for Crimean political prisoners.

Antonio Stango is a mentor to Crimean political prisoner Amet Suleimanov and has consistently supported Ukrainian political prisoners, raising international awareness of Russia’s human rights violations.

We thank Antonio Stango for his longstanding support for Ukraine, his commitment to protecting the rights of Crimean political prisoners, and his important contribution to international advocacy!
