The occupiers continue to ignore the health problems of political prisoner Timur Ibragimov

Timur Ibragimov, a civilian journalist with a group III disability, who was illegally sentenced to 17 years in prison, has been diagnosed with a serious illness – cholelithiasis. He received such conclusions yesterday after a medical examination in a Russian hospital, for which he had been waiting for six months.

His wife, Diliara Ibragimova, reported that even after the ultrasound and the diagnosis of the disease, Russian doctors did not provide any recommendations and even refused to take additional analysis.

The occupiers continue to torture other Ukrainian political prisoners who have serious health problems. Servet Haziiev complains of constant pain in the intestines, as well as problems with the spine. Amet Suleimanov, who suffered from arterial and mitral heart failure before his imprisonment, is getting worse. And Russian doctors still refuse to tell Emir Usein-Kuku on which part of his organ they performed medical intervention during the intestinal surgery. The health condition of civilian journalist and doctor Iryna Danylovych is also deteriorating.

In total, more than 30 illegally convicted activists have significant health problems. Illegal detention and total neglect of their health threatens not only the deterioration of the political prisoners’ condition, but also their lives.
