“The peace will come to you at all costs one day, no matter what. Peace is a priceless treasure that every individual, every community, and even every nation needs”, – Andrew Asiamah Amoako, Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament in Ghana.

During his speech at the Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana, Andrew Asiamah Amoako, emphasized the importance of peace both in Ukraine and on the Crimean peninsula. He also noted the negative impact of Russian aggression on the global order: “Invasion, occupation and war in Ukraine have brought hardships and even hunger to other parts of the world, which depends on the impulse of the region, including Africa, and my own Ghana is no exception”.

“President Putin and Russia, please, enough is enough,” – Andrew Asiama Amoako called on Russia to stop aggression and illegal occupation of Ukrainian territories and Crimea in particular. “Ghana stands in solidarity with the leaders and good people of Ukraine and Crimea,” the speaker concluded.
