   In the closing part of the Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform, Markéta Pekarová Adamová, the Speaker of the Chamber of the Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, thanked all the organizers for their contribution as well as participants for “practical and constructive participation in the Summit and the preparation of the Joint Declaration”.

   Markéta Pekarová noted that the gathering had achieved its main goal, namely, demonstrating the unity of the family of democratic nations vis-a-vis Russian aggression and the illegal occupation of Crimea.

   At the same time, Marketa Pekárová assured that the Czech Republic supports President Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula and added that today’s event helped “to identify the crucial role of parliaments within the International Crimean Platform”.

   Concluding her speech, Marketa Pekárová Adamová added that today support was expressed for the establishment of the ICP support groups in parliaments.
