Closing Ceremony of the Third International Conference “Crimea Global: Understanding Ukraine through the South”
On 18 November, the Third International Conference “Crimea Global: Understanding Ukraine through the South” concluded with a ceremonial closing. Over the course of two days, the conference served as a platform for in-depth dialogue on the future of Crimea, the security of the Black Sea region, and the restoration of international order. During the closing ceremony, conference participants were awarded special certificates.
This year’s conference brought together representatives from countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Nigeria, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, India, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Nepal. Among the participants were human rights defenders, scholars, journalists, community leaders, and experts in international security.
We express our sincere gratitude to all participants, partners, and everyone who contributed to making Crimea Global not just an event, but a space of trust, bold ideas, and a shared vision for the future of a de-occupied Crimea. We thank everyone who supports Ukraine, who speaks the truth about the crimes of occupation, and who continues to build bridges of solidarity between our regions and peoples.
