Crimean Tatar Cultural Event Qırım: The Voice of the South Will Take Place in Kraków

On December 8, 2024, Kraków will host the second musical and poetic event, Qırım: The Voice of the South, dedicated to the culture of Crimea. The event is organized by the Chimera Kultur Foundation. The event will be held at the Lost Bar (Szewska 20), representing another step in promoting Crimean Tatar culture in Europe.

The program includes performances of Crimean Tatar music, featuring original songs and covers, and poetry reading in Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar, including pieces from the anthology Crimean Fig / Qırım İnciri. Participants will also share personal stories, memories, and life experiences in Crimea.

This marks the second time Chimera Kultur has hosted such an event in Kraków, creating a platform for dialogue and cultural exchange. The event is not only about art but also about unity. Guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the richness of Crimean Tatar culture, experience its spirit, and connect with its beauty and nostalgia, which unite those displaced from their homeland.
