“Unity and commitment to support Ukraine is the key to the future” — President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulides

On behalf of his people, President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulides reaffirmed his commitment to the principle of territorial indivisibility of Ukraine. He emphasized that the war unleashed by Russia poses a threat to the entire international legal order. “From day one, we have been opposed to this unjustified aggression,” the President of Cyprus added.

Nicos Christodoulidis also noted the tireless support and assistance to Ukrainians who had to flee the war and supported the need to continue sanctions pressure on the aggressor state.
