“We are ready to continue to provide support”, Manfred Seitz, Director General of the Secretariat of the Danube Commission

Manfred Seitz, Director General of the Secretariat of the Danube Commission began his speech at the Third Summit of the Crimea Platform with the information that logistics facilities have once again been attacked by Russian drones: “This is the 4th attack on Danube ports since July 24. Attacks on warehouses and other infrastructure in Ukrainian ports are a clear violation of the principles of the Danube Commission and must be condemned as strongly as possible.”

“In March 2022, Russia was expelled from the Danube Commission and all working groups. We all agreed to limit Russia’s participation in the Danube Commission”, Manfred Seitz said.

Concluding his speech, Manfred Seitz emphasized that they are ready to continue to provide support, to help Ukraine integrate into the information system for cross-border information transfer between Ukraine and the EU.

“I am sure that this will also help to rehabilitate the Ukrainian economy after the war,” he concluded.
