Milton Dick expressed Australia’s unwavering support for Ukraine in defending the global rules-based order and international law principles outlined in the UN Charter. The Speaker highlighted the documentation of Russia’s consistent human rights violations, particularly in temporarily occupied Crimea as well as persecution faced by the Crimean Tatars.

The Australian speaker called on Russia to immediately completely and unconditionally withdraw its forces from the entire Lugansk and Donetsk regions, Crimean Peninsula and all the territories within Ukraine’s internationally recognised borders.
