During her speech at the Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform, Yaël Braun-Pivet, the President of the National Assembly of France, emphasized that Ukraine is currently demonstrating its bravery. Anti-democratic forces are barbarians – they excel at destabilization and violation of human rights and international law.

“Everyone has the right to independence, and we should not succumb to the double standards presented to us by Russia. Human rights cannot be divided; they are universal rights. Everyone has the right to self-determination. We will continue to support Ukraine. As representatives of the parliaments of free nations, we share the same values as Ukraine,” added Yaël Braun-Pivet, the President of the National Assembly of France.
