Crimean Tatar Eldar Menumerov Returned from Russian Captivity

Within the framework of the latest exchange, Ukraine returned 103 people from captivity—82 privates and sergeants and 21 officers. Those released from captivity are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, border guards, and police officers. There are also 69 defenders of Mariupol, including 31 Azovstal defenders and two Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant guards.

Crimean Tatar athlete and freestyle wrestler Eldar Menumerov, who participated in defense of Mariupol as part of the 12th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, was also released from Russian captivity.
