The inaugural Summit of the Crimea Platform will take place in Kyiv on August 23, 2021.

The Summit will be attended by heads of foreign states, governments, heads of parliaments and international organizations, as well as civil society leaders.

The summit intends to demonstrate international unity around the position affirming that «Crimea is Ukraine», to condemn Russia’s crimes in and around Crimea, and to outline the parameters of international policy toward putting an end to the occupation.

The Summit will officially launch the Crimea Platform, a new coordination and consultation format developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to implement the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Summit will approve a Joint Declaration highlighting the main parameters of international policy towards Crimea.
