The Fourth Crimea Platform Summit: Rustem Umerov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine

“Without a full-fledged navy, we managed to destroy more than 150 enemy targets, including 24 ships, one submarine, and the Moskva cruiser.”

“We are taking practical steps to expand the capabilities of the Ukrainian Navy in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. This will enable us to be more self-sufficient in the field of defense and open up new opportunities for strengthening our country,” Rustem Umerov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine. 

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov is convinced that Ukraine is able to withstand a stronger enemy and win even in the darkest times.

He emphasized that Ukraine is actively cooperating with a number of countries to strengthen its navy and has made great progress in countering Russia’s aggression over the past year.
