In Crimea, the occupiers detained a delegate of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people Edem Dudakov after an illegal search

The occupation forces conducted an illegal search of the house of Edem Dudakov, a Crimean Tatar activist and member of the Audit Commission of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people.

The occupiers broke into Dudakov’s house in Bakhchisarai around 7 am and conducted an illegal search, after which he was taken to the occupation security forces’ office in Simferopol.

“The glass front door was broken, and the second internal iron door could not be opened, so they began to knock. When the search was conducted, some of the occupiers went with Dudakov, and some with his wife, Elvina Dudakova. They inspected everything – both the basement and the garage,” the human rights activists report.

The illegal search ended at nine in the morning. The occupants drew up a “protocol” in Dudakov’s house, but did not leave a copy for the family.

Dudakov suffers from diabetes and hypertension. His relatives do not know what procedural status the man is in, but they have already applied for legal assistance.

Let us remind you that a year ago, on February 17, 2023, the house of Edem Dudakov, a delegate of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people, was illegally searched by officers from the so-called “center for countering extremism”.
