Refat Alimov, a Crimean Tatar political prisoner, was released

After 8 years of illegal imprisonment by the occupiers, Crimean Tatar Refat Alimov was released. His lawyer reported this information.

In 2016, Refat Alimov was illegally accused in the so-called “case of Crimean Muslims” by the occupiers. At that time, a Russian court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Alimov to 8 years in a penal colony.

Refat Alimov, who has just been released from prison, intends to help other political detainees, as other illegally convicted Crimean Tatars remain in captivity in Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea.
