President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili reassured the full support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people and mentioned that Ukraine is fighting against Russian barbarian anachronism not only for its own independence and sovereignty but for the entire Europe’s freedom and security.

“The war is showing once again that the stability and security of Europe is untenable without extending to the entire continent from Lisbon to Tbilisi. It also demonstrates that the deoccupation of all territories is an absolute prerequisite to peace and stability to ensure that Russia renounces imperial ambitions”, highlighted Salome Zourabichvili.

The President of Georgia asserted that Europe’s unwavering support and unity around Ukraine is crucial for Ukraine’s victory and no less crucial for the future security of Georgia and Moldova. 

“That is my conviction that Georgia should and my hope that Georgia will receive the candidate’s status and will join Ukraine and Moldova on our common accelerated path towards European integration”, added Salome Zourabichvili.

“Georgia will be with you then as it is now. Long live independent Ukraine!”, concluded Salome Zourabichvili.
