ZMINA started a tour of Ukraine with a photo exibition “Stories from the Occupied Crimea”

The ZMINA Human Rights Center started a tour of Ukraine with a photo exhibition “Stories from the Occupied Crimea”, which was presented in October 2022 at the First Parliamentary Summit of the Crimea Platform.

The exhibition features the works of reporters Alyona Savchuk, Alina Smutko and Taras Ibragimov, who from the beginning of the occupation in 2014 until 2019 documented the lives of families of political prisoners and systematic human rights violations by Russia in the occupied Crimea.

Currently, the occupation administration of Crimea has banned the authors from visiting the occupied peninsula for a period from 10 to 35 years.

After the presentation of the photo exhibition in Khmelnytskyi, the authors plan to present “Stories from the Occupied Crimea” in Kropyvnytskyi, Chernivtsi, Odesa, Lutsk, and Lviv.
