The leader of the Crimean Tatar people, Mustafa Dzhemilev, delivered a speech at the Sixth Crimea Platform Summit

«To ensure the swiftest possible liberation of all occupied territories and an end to the war, Ukraine needs substantial support» 

At the Sixth Crimea Platform Summit, Mustafa Dzhemilev called on the international community to take decisive action to end Russia’s aggression and liberate Ukraine’s occupied territories. He stressed that the lack of decisive action following the occupation of Crimea in 2014 contributed to further Russian expansion, while the situation has only worsened since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Dzhemilev called on international partners to provide Ukraine with the necessary military support, first and foremost sufficient air defence systems to protect civilians from Russian attacks, and stressed that these calls should be reflected in the Summit’s final document.
